Getting user's input

Hi!

I'm trying to find a way in wich the user can interact with the dashboard by inputing values. The ideia is to use the input value from the user as a parameter to make some operations and show the results in visuals.

For example, the user will input the quantity of some raw material and I'll show him how many products he can make with this quantity of raw material.

I've made one version of this interface using the What If Parameter. It worked fine and I kinda got the results I expected, but the problem is that I must allow the user to put the exact decimal value he wants, and the What If Parameter doesn't work for that because of its limitations.

Now I'm searching ways to do this with Power Apps, and probably will find a solution soon. I just want to know if there's a easier way to do this before going for a more complex solution.

Again, what I want is to find a way for the user to be able to input one single decimal value at a time, and the dashboard will use this value to make some operations (mostly multiplications with some metrics) and show him the results.

Here's what I did with What If Parameter:

If I could select one exact value with the What If parameter, my problem would be solved.

Any help would be appreciated. Let me know if I should provide more informations.

@Anonymous , what if the parameter comes with an exact display option. You have to create whatif with decimal datatype steps like  0.01 I think 4 decimal will create a pretty big series table even for values between 1 to 10

Thanks for helping.

Even if I set the steps to 0.01, the problem (discussed in this post and many others) continues. My range is too big (0-1million) to get the exact value using what if parameters, it seems.
