Hello,
I have to admit, I am quite a newbie on PowerBI. Currently I have this challenge:
I would like to create an overview/dashboards of several data fields of construction projects. I can get my data using Web and the API/GET protocol.
The problem is that I can get the data I am looking for only one project. For example using this GET request:
https://api.cobee.nl/api/project/#project_id/
So I need to enter a specific project ID and then I get the information I am looking for. But that is just for one project. I need these data fields for ALL projects for my dashboard.
A GET request for all project exists:
https://api.cobee.nl/api/projects/
...but gives me only low level information, nothing in detail.
So how can I combine the high level project information for all projects? Or is this something the creator of the service has to provide?
Solved! Go to Solution.
The basic principle as I recall is to perform all the steps needed to get the details for a single project, including all the transformations, and then turn that into a custom function. In a new query you can then get the list of projects and loop through that calling your custom function for each entry. There's a YouTube available at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MCTXMUuH3gk
Thank you for that link, very helpful!
