Hello
I am trying to use data from Table A and Table B to create Table C. But I end up having Table D
I have created the relationship between Table A and Table B connecting "System" as its common in both tables. And then tried to bring data from the "status column" in both tables A, and B to Table C, but I end up having Table D
How can I have the end result as in Table C
Any help is highly appreciated

Hi,
You may download my PBI file from here.
Hope this helps.
Hey @bishnu ,
create a pbix file that contains sample data, but still reflects your data model (tables, relationships, calcualted columns, and measures). Upload the pbix to onedrive, googledrive, or dropbox and share the link. If you are using Excel to create the sample data instead of the manual input method share the xlsx as well.
Explain the expected result based on the sample you provide.
What I'm missing is the explanation on how you merged the content from column Document and Progrss, next, the source of the column ID, either it's from table A or B, provide the source.
Regards,
Tom
Hello Tom
I am adding the wetransfer link to powerbi file
As mentioned in the previous table, I am taking data from two tables to create the third table.
The problem is that since the "system" column data viz. BMS 1, BMS 2, and BMS 3 are repetitive (3 instances) in the first table A,
It is repeated in 3 instances in the third table D (in the power bi file).
Instead, I just want one instance of BMS 1, BMS 2, and BMS 3 in the third table as in table B.
Hi,
You may download my PBI file from here.
Hope this helps.
Thanks a lot Ashish. it works
You are welcome.
Hey @bishnu ,
I will not download from wetransfer. I'm sorry!
Tom
