Getting an error in a query of an excel file

Hi all,

I have a simple 5 column excel file that I am using as my data set. For whatever reason, when I pull it in I get an error. For whatever reason, it is moving my index colum and creating a new Resident (index) column. I can't figure out why it is doing this as there are no errors in the excel file.

Hi @LAndes,

What error message do you get? Could you please share sample data of the Excel file for us to test?

Also what is the result when you create a table for the data in your Excel file and then load the table to Power BI Desktop?

Thanks,
Lydia Zhang
