## Getting an Aggregation of an Aggregation based on Window position (SumX?)

I have a list of Customers (BILLTO) and a list of Units (TRACTOR).  These are both standard dimensions.  Rev-FSC is the amount of Revenue that Unit generated for that Customer.  Total Rev-FSC ALL is a calculated measure that presents the Total Revenue that Unit Generated.  Rev-FSC Allocation % is a calculated measure that presents the percentage of the given Unit's Revenue that was generated for that customer.

The calculations:

Total Rev-FSC ALL = calculate(sum(Operations[Rev-FSC]),ALL(Operations[BILLTO]))

Rev-FSC Allocation % = sum(Operations[Rev-FSC])/[Total Rev-FSC ALL]

The next step in my process is to export the results of this matrix to Excel and sum the Rev-FSC Allocation % to get the total number of Units that worked for a particular Customer.  In this particular Customer's case, there would be 1.862 Units that worked for this Customer.

I want to be able to get the total sum of the Units per Customer without exporting to Excel, but I can't figure out how to make this calculation work in Power BI.  I imagine the solution has something to do with SumX, but I can't figure it out.

I want the end result to look like:   OSHSAI | 1.862

Anyone able to help?

Hi, @DonRitchie

You can try the following methods.
Measure:

``Result = IF(HASONEVALUE('Table'[TRACTOR]),[Rev-FSC Allocation %],SUMX('Table',[Rev-FSC Allocation %]))``

Is this the result you expect?

Super User

Hi,

Drag this measure to a card visual

Measure = SUMX(VALUES(Operations[Tracor]),[Rev-FSC Allocation %])

Hope this helps.
