Getting Data Connectors from App Into Desktop?

Hello,

 

I have a quick question. There seems to be a number of connectors that I can get on app.powerbi that I cannot seem to find on the desktop verison. Are some data connectors only avaialble on the online powerbi version and not on the desktop?

Essentially yes. In the Service, you have Content Packs. Some of these Content Packs have equivalent data connectors in Desktop and some do not. The reverse is also true, there are some Desktop connectors that have no equivalent Content Packs or connection methods in the Service.
