I have a sample data as below and I would like to consider the record with max version over document number.

I agree with @ibarrau . If you want a new table, you can do this:
Hi! you can just add Document number in a visualization (test it with table), if it's a data type number be sure to click on the arrow "Don't summarize". Then add version to the visualization and go to the arrow again but this time click on Max (it has to be a number/int data type).
That way you'll have the expected result.
