Get data from git lab to power BI for analysis

I want to connect git lab in my power bi dekstop.

I tried using URL of the GitLab REST API endpoint (e.g. https://gitlab.com/api/v4/projects/id) using web connector but it isnt working and it is not fetching any data in bi. help me here if there is another way of conneting git lab to power bi for data analysis.

@Payal8396 , This is what I have done on GitHub, I have taken the download link(not address URL) and format as excel and was able to get excel data

Format it has chosen automatically

I noticed that issue on numerous times when pushed files to the Git, once committed there will be no option to retrieve back for any further changes. I'll try your suggestion.
