Get data from SAP

Hi all,

 

I need to get data from SAP software , do its need any connector accept on premise gateway to connect the data between power BI?

What specific SAP software do you connect to ? Power BI Desktop provides the following SAP connectors. 

  • SAP HANA Database
  • SAP Business Warehouse Application Server
  • SAP Business Warehouse Message Server (Beta)

And when you want to add the SAP HANA or SAP BW data sources within on-premises gateway and refresh your dataset in Power BI Service, please make sure that you are able to access the SAP data source from the machine that install gateway.
