Get "DataFormat.Error: External table is not in the expected format" in Power BI

After modifying the path and filename to an .xls file I get the following error:

Any ideas? I've searched the forum but can't find exactly what I'm looking for. Apparently something is wrong with the Excel file?I'm new to Power BI. Thanks.

Hi @zionhiker

So it's the same file but has been moved to a different location?

Check that the column names are the same as the original file that was used to build the query.
