Let's say I have 2 tables with the followings -
TABLE 1 has one column called "DEPT NAME" and it has 2 records DEPT_NAME_A and DEPT_NAME_B.
TABLE 2 has 3 columns with column DATE and the other 2 columns are named as "DEPT_NAME_A" and "DEPT_NAME_B".
DATE is used as a filter in visual.
I want to build a matrix that shows DEPT NAME and the values from TABLE 2 (DEPT_NAME_A and DEPT_NAME_B) as shown below -
DEPT NAME VALUEs from TABLE 2
-----------------------------------------------------------
DEPT_NAME_A 1
DEPT_NAME_B 2
What DAX function should I use? Any suggestion would be appriciated.
Thanks
@yliu371 how it will be 1 and 2 if TABLE 1 has only 2 records?
