I'm new to Power BI and to this forum. I'm using the PBI report builder and created a new blank report. I then added a gauge visual using the 180 degree north option to the report and it shows like this on the report design mode:
this was expected, however when I go to run mode and select print layout the same gauge displays cut off:
Am I missing something? Why won't the entire gauge display as per the first screenshot?
I am using the version of Report builder from the app store:
is this the same version for you?
Hi @randomsky ,
Everything is fine in my test, I recommend you check your page setting. The details about print in the document are for your reference: Report design view (Report Builder) - Microsoft Report Builder & Power BI Report Builder | Microsoft...
Here is my test and my page setting.
Best regards,
Mengmeng Li
Hi @Anonymous ,
Thanks for checking this, but on the screenshot that you provided, you haven't clicked on print layout:
Mine too shows fine when print layout is not selected. Here are my report page settings and they look quite identical to yours. Not sure what I'm missing here.
Hi @randomsky ,
I tried to reproduce the issue and the same issue occurs when I adjust the margins. So, I recommend that you check page margins.
When I use 1 as all margins, the print page shows all content.
When I modify margins, the gauge displays cut off.
Best regards,
Mengmeng Li
Changed the margins to 1mm but still the same:
