I've taken a thousand turns and changed the gateway settings, and I always get error
I put the server address, database, database username and password but nothing at all.
The port check tells me they're right.
Any ideas?

Are you able to connect the database via SSMS?

@Syndicate_Admin , Are you able to access the database using SQL Server Management Studio.

Forgive the question but I would have to tell the IT department, that they would open port 10.6.... that gives access to the database server?
