Hi All,
I have managed to establish a gateway with ax cube through analysis services and that is working fine. However, when i load in an excel file such as a calendar table, the gateway breaks. How do i resolve this issue? / what is perhaps some best practices that I should follow with regards to loading excel files such as hierarchy and calendar table?
Thanks in advance for the help.

Hi @Anonymous ,
You can find it in power bi service. Click the setting button in the right upper corner amd choose manage gateway, find your gateway, click the (...) to add a new data source for it.

Hi @Anonymous ,
If the excel file is on your local disk and you cannot edit credentials for it in the gateway page of power bi service, you can try to configure a data source for it in the gateway configuration by using the file as the data source.

Hi @Anonymous ,
Are you using an excel file from your local disk?
I have tried it on my desktop, it seems to work for me.
You may need to edit the credential on your power bi service:
Please try.
Thanks.

Hi @Anonymous ,
Do you have the access to your Power BI Service to check the data source credential?
If yes, could you please take a screenshot for me?
If no, you may need to contact the admin of your power bi service to help to configure the data source credential.
