I am having difficulty and need the help of the community. I have a Gantt chart that shows all of my scheduled events and so forth. My issue is that my client wants a table with my Gantt that will show (based on a selected Gantt bar) what the predecessor(s) are for that particular task. So if I click on a bar, I already have the tooltip show what it is and the predecessor numbers(s) however, I cannot get my table to show the predecessors. If there is any help/guidance I can receive it would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, @Anonymous
Given the scenario you've described, it seems you're already leveraging tooltips to show predecessor information when a Gantt bar is selected. To extend this functionality to a table that dynamically updates based on the selected Gantt bar, you might need to utilize Power BI's ability to create relationships and use DAX to filter and display the relevant predecessor data.
Here is a possible solution:
1.Ensure Data Model Relationships.
2.Use DAX to Create a Measure: You will need to create a DAX measure that filters the predecessor information based on the selected task in the Gantt chart. This measure can then be used in your table visual to display only the relevant predecessors. A basic example of such a measure could be:
SelectedPredecessor = CALCULATE(
MAX('Table'[PredecessorColumn]),
FILTER(
'Table',
'Table'[TaskIDColumn] = SELECTEDVALUE('Gantt'[TaskIDColumn])
)
)
Return the selected value in the table Visual through SELECTEDVALUE. If you want to know more about the use of DAX, you can click the link below:

This will help, however, it does not help me handle where in the Gantt there are multiple predecessors listed for a task.
