Hello PowerBI Community!
I wanted to build a report using Gantt Chart by xViz. However when I am trying to share it other users need to buy a license. Could you please tell me if there is a free Gantt Chart visual where I could build tasks by hierarchy and timeline in quarters? I already checked similar visuals but none of them has the features I need. Thanks in advance!

Hi @Anonymous
I think that the most flexible way is creating the Gantt "manually" with matrix and conditional formatting.

Hi @Anonymous
If you want to use the free gantt chart, you can consider to use the gantt comed from app visual, but it has some limitations.
If you want to build tasks by hierarchy and timeline in quarters in visual, you can consider to create a custom visual, you can refer to the following link about the custom visual.

Hi @Anonymous,
you could go for the solution with conditional formatting as suggested by @Ritaf1983 , or try a solution using SVG images in a standard matrix visual.
I recently created a post regarding this.
Best regards
