Gantt Chart Not working?
Hi Anonymous,
It is not working. I am using the latest Power BI Desktop & Windows 10. As you said, nothing shows up. I followed the Youtube clip to make sure I wasn't doing anything wrong.
Anyone else have any luck ?
Microsoft really needs to check it's custom visuals before publishing them. So many of the visuals have bugs. I know they are giving us a test platform to check for compatability issues, but that's like Volkswagen telling its customers 'tough luck' because they didn't do their own independent tests.

I had the same issue. If you change the name of the field that you add as Task to "Task Name" it works. Probably is a bug and needs fixing.

Just an update, the PowerBI team is informed for the issue and will fix it with a new version.

Has a new version come out since this was posted (in March of 2016)? There seems to be a bug with the order of the tasks at least when using a sharepoint task list as the data source. The order the data is imported in is altered somehow. There does not seem to be a way to restore that order. Even using task ID in the task field doesn't retain the original order. Any help would be appreciated.
