Gantt Chart 2.2.3 Visual Layout
Hi cmboudreaux ,
JUST show the hour
- There is no Hour type for current version of Gantt visual. Please vote this idea here to make it possible in future version.
- I found a visual in AppSource called as Timeline that allows you to create a Gnatt chart with hours/mins.
- Solved: 24 hour based gantt - Microsoft Power BI Community
make this widget full screen with NO scroll bars
- only option is to either reduce the column size and padding, or increase the size of the report canvas.
-
try pagination like

there IS an Hour type for the current Gantt - one of the posters below captured a screenshot of it and I have hours clearly displayed in my screenshot. The issue is the number in parenthesis after the hour which i now know is the Date - so wondering if there is a way to show just the hour and not the date in parenthesis>

Hi cmboudreaux ,
I think I understand what you mean. If you open this link and notice the solution, it may help you.
- Formula example is 08 = IF(AND(HOUR(SCHEDUAL_TBL[START])<=8;HOUR(SCHEDUAL_TBL[CLOSE])>8);1;BLANK())
- It would be interesting if Measure could be created with hours column headers, and having same result as one using new columns, and we can always use R solution http://community.powerbi.com/t5/R-Script-Showcase/Schedule-view/m-p/69026/thread-id/43
It is by design to show HH:MM:SS. You can also create a visual by yourself or vote here.
Visual need: day to day comparison of event time duration in hours/minutes
