Gannt tooltip shows UK dates in app.powerbi.com but US dates in modern sharepoint webpart

As subject suggests, UK dates (dd/mm/yyyy) showing as I want on the PowerBI desktop and PowerBI online version of my gannt chart tooltip. However, when I add the report to SharePoint webpart the tooltip becomes US dates (mm/dd/yyyy).

My Regional Locale on my SharePoint site is set to UK so that shouldn't be the issue. Anyone enountered this and got a solution or workaround?

Hi @johnnr892 ,

Could you pls try to open the sharepoint site in incognito mode?I'm afraid it's a cache issue.

Best Regards,
Kelly

Still no luck - still American date format with the following:

  1. A colleague who has access sees American date format
  2. Incognito is also American date format
  3. I cleared my cache and still American date

Hi @johnnr892 ,

Below is a blog about how to change the American format in Sharepoint, hope this would help.

Hi Kelly, sorry if the picture is small in my original post, but I've already checked this and the SharePoint locale is correct. Please see my original post

Hi @johnnr892 ,

Since it's a sharepoint issue,I'd like to suggest you go to Office 365 forum to get better support. You can close or delete the forum from Power BI then create a new one in Office 365  forum.

Much appreciated.

Best Regards,
Kelly
