I have the following cash flow details for our investor. | ||

However when I use the XIRR formula I am getting the calculation as shown below which doesent look correct . Can you please help in sorting out the issue. | ||

We created a new XIRR column with the formula as shown below | ||
IRR_Calc= XIRR(IRR,IRR[Cashflow_Amt],IRR[Cashflow_date]) | ||
However when I try to run this in excel I am getting the value populated properly as 6.77 % | ||
Can you please let us know what should be the formula for the column IRR_Calc |
Hi @Vigneshkris,
Based on my test, XIRR function returns the same result in Excel and Power BI based on above sample data.
In your scenario, please make sure the dataset loaded into desktop is exactly same as that in Excel without missing any row. Please check whether you have applied any filter to dataset in desktop.
