Formula error

Hi,

I have a 5 year monthly data but I want to get a yearly total(BusinesYear)  given two column filters(DIVISION_NM  and SERIES_NM)

So I have a measure:

TOTAL SALES = CALCULATE(SUM(Query1[Sales by Selling days1]),FILTER(ALLEXCEPT(Query1,Query1[BusinesYear],Query1[DIVISION_NM],Query1[SERIES_NM])))

but I'm getting this error.

"Too few arguments were passed to the filter function. The minimum argunent count for the function is 2."

Help!!!

@Anonymous,

Modify your measure like below then it will work:

TOTAL SALES =
CALCULATE (
    SUM ( Query1[Sales by Selling days1] ),
    ALLEXCEPT (
        Query1,
        Query1[BusinesYear],
        Query1[DIVISION_NM],
        Query1[SERIES_NM]
    )
)

Correct, FILTER takes 2 arguments, the table and the filter. In your case, just ditch the FILTER statement, the 2nd parameter to a CALCULATE is a filter clause.
