Formula bar not showing when attempting to create a report level measure using live connection

Hi,

I would like to create a report level measure using a live connection to a tabular SSAS model. 

However, when I click "New Measure" I only get the "Measure tools" option in ribbon but no formula bar to write DAX formula. Does anyone have clue why that might be?

I copied this post from a 2021 one, since now it's 2023 and I am experiencing the same issue despite on my computer i have the latest version of PBI Desktop: Versione: 2.123.684.0 64-bit (novembre 2023).

Try rolling back to Oct version October 2023

It worked. I hope that someone will fix the bug because there was no way to make it work in a different way.
