I have data formatted in the form of a table.
| ID | Trans ID | Name | Amount | Date |
| 3241 | 45645 | Jane Doe | 4500 | 12/1/2021 |
| 3242 | 26531 | Jane Doe | 6897 | 11/15/2021 |
| 3243 | 12543 | Jane Doe | 10000 | 9/4/2021 |
| 3244 | 12356 | Jane Doe | 7421 | 4/5/2021 |
How do I keep all the detail information in rows in the matrix without having to drill down and just have the date across the top of the matrix with the amount under the date?
| Date1 | Amount | Date2 | Amount | Date3 | Amount | Date4 | Amount | |||
| ID | Trans ID | Name | ||||||||
| 3241 | 456256666 | Jane Doe | 12/1/2021 | 4500 | 11/15/2021 | 6897 | 9/4/2021 | 10000 | 4/5/2021 | 7421 |
Hi,
Your question is not clear. If you want to create one row for each ID, then what entries do you want to show under the Trans ID column?
There should be only one ID
In the rows there should be:
Id Trans Name
And Columns should show dates and amounts
Show the expected result very clearly.
@Anonymous , You have to create the following columns
Min ID = minx(FIlter(Table, [Name] = earlier([Name]) ) , [ID]) // Use in Matrix Row
Min Tran ID = minx(FIlter(Table, [Name] = earlier([Name]) ) , [Trans ID]) // Use in Matrix Row
Date Rank = Rankx(FIlter(Table, [Name] = earlier([Name]) ) , [Date],,asc,dense) // Use in Matrix Column
and use Date and Amount as values , take max and sum respectively
