Format date from 2024 January to 2024-01

I have a date in the form of 2024 January and I need it in the format of 2024-01. The leading zero is important. Can someone please give me the DAX formula for this.

Thanks

The Hierarchy is automatically genreated. How do I just select the date?

@Anonymous you can type that string in the format by selecting the column:

This will keep the column type as date but display with yyyy-mm format, if you want to convert it to text then use the following DAX expression:

YYYY-MM Column =
FORMAT ( YourTable[Date Column], "yyyy-mm" )

Hi @Anonymous ,

You are using two columns, please use Date for the conversion, not Date's hierarchy.
