Format Options: Hierarchy Slicer vs Slicer visualizations

Hi,

I want to check the percentage of a certain charachteristic units in the total number of units. So I have a pie chart with the number of total units and a slicer to filter just the units with this cretain char.  However slicer only allows to filter the other graphs when editing interactions and not just highlight them. This doesnt makes sense to me asif I transform the slicer into a barchart the I'll have this option available...:S

Do you know any workaround?

I didn't get u clearly , if u have any sample image pls share that will help us to understand clearly.

Do u want the interaction while click on Bar Chart ?

This is the available interaction with slicer

As you can see only filtering is available. Now if I represent the info as a barchart I'll have highlight interaction available. I now I am introducing the units in the bar chart so that is more straight forward for power bi to do the high light but I would like to have the same behaviour with the slicer. I guess this is not possible right now but could be a good update.

Yes, it is not possible to do it currently. The idea has already been shared on Power BI ideas. You can vote it up here to make this feature coming sooner.

Cool, 

When go with interaction , there is two option is there .

1. Filter and 2. Highlight

U have to chhose filter.

Thats the problem I want to highlight instead of filter using slicer but there is no such option as you can see on the first pic.

Sorry for my misunderstand .

We don't have this option while choose slicer. Again sorry here . we can't do.
