Forecasting with Matrix/Table Visualizations?

Are there any thoughts as to when Power BI forecasting might be coming to matrixes and/or tables as opposed to just charts?  The charts are great, but it would be nice to get the full year value or a year to year value of your results.

Hi @Anonymous,

As far I don't heard any plan about forecasting in matrix or table visual. For your requirement, please submit a idea in Ideas forum.

Hi @Anonymous,

One option is to use R in the Query Editor to generate some forecast data, which could then be used by any visual.  You would have more ability to tune the forecast, but would probably need to be semi comfortable writing R.

Phil, thanks for the input.  I have considered R script but my skill set isn't quite there yet.  I was perhaps looking for info from anyone close to MS as to if and when this might be in the works.
