Hi Team,
I really need your assitance. I have a date table where days in the months are distributed differently because we use 4-4-5 calendar and so I created a column with m/d/y but when I was trying to change the column data type from text to date type , Power BI doesn't see this column as regular date data type, how can we force Power BI to consider this type of custom date column as a date column? This is the error I get:
DataFormat.Error: We couldn't parse the input provided as a Date value.
Details:
11/31/2022.
I understand that in November 2022, we didn't have 31 days in that month but this is the customized date calendar we use in our org, any ideas please? Thanks
I think I was making an error in the date column that I created so please ignore this post

Hi, if you need to use 445 calendar then you need to setup your date tables accordingly. You cant have 31st Nov, which doesnt exists. Usually date table should have all the dates. Then there should be a Month, Year columns. If you are using 445 calendar, then there should be another few set of columns like 445Month, 445Year, a 445WeekNumber should be helpful.
Hope this helps!
