Find current value based on date from data

Hi guys anyone help me with this one - im wanting to for any given date, pull the value against the ID

Gareth_Hunt_0-1624632691778.png

14/06/2021UK-Education-Schools5
24/06/2021UK-Education-Schools3
24/06/2021UK-Education-Universities5
24/06/2021UK-Healthcare-Care Homes1

so fr example if date slider was set to 15/06/2021 then for "UK-education-schools" i want to see the value "5", but if the date selection was 25/06/2021 then return the value "3" using a new table

Hi Parry 2K

thank you for the link, I will do my best to present the questions more approperately in future.

in excell i used the formula =VLOOKUP(CONCAT($I1,MAXIFS($B:$B,$A:$A,$I1)),$C:$D,2,FALSE)

but i dont know how that translates to PBI
