For example, I have a column called "Status"
and I want to create a new column that will display the "Status in Words" like if the "Status" contains (NS) then it will show Not Started, (IP) - In Progress, (CLSD) - Closed

I would suggest easily doing this in the Query Editor using the Conditional Column.
