Filters

This might be a dumb question, but is it possible i can put in a slicer on a tab of a report which contains multiple visuals. But the slicer will only be able to filter only 1 of the visuals?

Yes you can. Select the slicer, choose the Format from the top menu and then select "Edit Interactions". You can then click the circle with a line through it ( None ) for the visuals you don't want to be affected by the slicer
