Filters with Multiple Conditions

Hi-

Hoping I can get help on this as soon as possible.

I'm trying to create a report with options to select which day of the week I'm reviewing the report for. Each day must be filtered on two columns. Can you please advice how I can do this.

For ex: If I select Monday, it should filter by multiple values on 'column 1' AND multiple values on 'column 2'.

Thanks very much!

@Anonymous Super vague. Maybe a Complex Selector? The Complex Selector - Microsoft Power BI Community

Otherwise...Sorry, having trouble following, can you post sample data as text and expected output?
Not really enough information to go on, please first check if your issue is a common issue listed here: https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Community-Blog/Before-You-Post-Read-This/ba-p/1116882

Also, please see this post regarding How to Get Your Question Answered Quickly: https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Community-Blog/How-to-Get-Your-Question-Answered-Quickly/ba-p/38490

The most important parts are:
1. Sample data as text, use the table tool in the editing bar
2. Expected output from sample data
3. Explanation in words of how to get from 1. to 2.

Hi! Yes...

Source data

Column 1Request TypeClientColumn 2
abcDefectCaliforniafdg
defSTITexasvdgbaZ
abfeRMMissouridzvdvf
dferEnhancementIowabfsb
 DefectTexas
 DefectMissouri

My selection on the left should give me options for the days of the week... Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday

Output:

When user selects Monday, the report should filter by 'Request Type = Defect, STI, RM' AND 'Client = 'Missouri, Texas'.

Column 1Request TypeClientColumn 2
 DefectMissouri
 DefectTexas
 RMMissouri
 STITexas
 RMMissouri

I will have specific values for Request Type and Client for each day of the week.

Hope this helps, please let me know if more info is needed. Thank you!

and so on

Am I using right expression, please advice.

@Anonymous Need a comma between your table name and your column name that you are grouping by.

@Anonymous Yeah, you are in Complex Selector territory. See that recipe in the Quick Measures Gallery.
