HI! This seems like a really basic question but I can't seem to resolve it. Referring to the attached image, you can see from the table that there should be only TWO projects that fulfil the filter criterion: 1_active FINAL = Yes in location A based on the Date filter. However, the bar chart on the left shows a total count of THREE projects.
On testing, I learnt that the bars filter in an "all or nothing" manner, i.e. location B will show TWO projects (the total number of projects in location B) as long as one project is active and will disappear when both projects are not active.
As a separate problem, I had wanted location B to be present (while reflecting a zero count) and I have attempted to achieve this by selecting the "Show items with no data" option for the Y-axis. But once again, the visuals did not respond. There is only one excelsheet involved (Sheet1) while date1 is a table created for the date slider. Therefore, there is no "relationship" used in this BI.
Hoping for some pointers from the gurus here! Thanks in advance.
Thank you so much for replying.
Here's the link to the folder containing the .pbix file as well as the excel file (if it helps).
Let me know if this works!
"Show items with no data" doesn't quite work as you expect it to. It can get quite complicated and depends on a number of factors, one of which is the order of columns in the visual.

For the first item, I would need to have a look at the pbix. Both visuals are summaries so it will be quicker if you post a link to a site with your pbix and i'll have a look.
