With slicers, if one clicks an option in Slicer A, then goes over and clicks an option in Slicer B - the selection in Slicer A persists.
I.e. here I've selected two different slicers. Standard behavior.
When using a visual as a slicer however - say where I've clicked here on the bar with -14.5%
If I try to then filter by a 2nd visual, the filter on the first visual, disengages. This can be got around by using CTRL-click. But, meh.
Q: Is there a way to have it not require ctrl-click, to filter by 2 different visuals?
Solved! Go to Solution.
No, you need to hold down Ctrl even when using 'rectangle select' across multiple visuals.

Hi @mmace1 ,
By my tests and research, I'm afraid that we cannot achieve that in any visual in power bi currently,
For slicer, we could achieve that with turning off the option Multi-select with CTRL.
