I have two columns in PowerBI: "Language" and "LanguageSkills". Column "Language" is in table "Languages". The whole "Languages" table is made from only one column named "Language" with only 4 rows: {"German", "Italian", "French", "Spanish Language"}. Column "LanguageSkills" appears in table "Skills" and presents data connected to different people presenting their language skills. Here are example four rows from the column "LanguageSkills": {"German", "German, Italian", "German, Spanish, French", "Spanish"}. There is created the relationship between "LanguageSkills" and "Language" as many to one. Furthermore, I have a Slicer which I can use by selecting fields from "Language" and filtering with it "LanguageSkills" in my dashboard.
The case is, that for now when I for instance choose on Slicer "German" the data displayed in "LanguageSkills" column on my dashboard shows only exact values like "German". I need to make it possible to display every data where the word chosen on Slicer appears. So when I choose "German", apart from "German", I want to display data where the word "German" appears like "Italian, Spanish Language, German", "German, French" etc.
How to do that?
Consider using the Microsoft TextFilter visual. You may have to combine your columns as the visual can only serch inside one column.
