Filtering off multiple matrices help!!!!

Hi everyone,

I am getting stuck on trying to figure out how to filter my report a certain way. Below I will explain what I am trying to do, and provide some sample data to do it with. My background is in Architecture so I have much to learn and look forward to learning from this community.

Starting data: (All the data is fabricated at this point as we have just started the collection cycle)

  • Will be an export from Deltek Vision (currently done manually but will be a live link to a sql database eventually)
  • Data includes
    • Project Number
    • Phase
    • Service
    • Many other fields!

Basically what I am struggling with is how to have an advanced filtering method that allows you to filter by multiple criteria that is found in a matrix of sorts. An example of this is looking at Phases by the various fields to determin if something is needed during that phase. To complicate it even more I need to break it down to servicePhase by phase. (Images Below)

  • Phases can include
    • Pre-Design
    • Schematic Design
    • Design Development
    • ...
  • Fields can be
    • Quality Leader
    • Contract Review
    • BIM Execution Plan
    • ...
  • Services can be
    • Architecture
    • Interiors
    • Engineering
    • ...
  • Service Phase can be
    • Architecture Pre-Design
    • Architecture Schematic Design
    • Architecture Design Development
    • ...

Current data would be Yes / No values in another document

Any thoughts on how to set this up would be very much appriciated!!

Thanks in advance

~Chris
