Hi there, I have a table with 3 columns (Name, Year & Task) which shows a gap analysis of which school students need to complete a Task. All the students need to achieve 24 targets by the time they reach years 9 or 11 or 13 (depending on the target).
I can define a Table Visual that filters the table based on the Year and 3 of the Tasks. This Visual can then be duplicated and changed so that it filters on 2 different Tasks and a different Year. Whilst this solution works, I would need 24 different Visuals and I really want one Visual with one slicer that filters the single table with combinations of the Year and Tasks.
Is this possible please?
Hey,
I'm wondering if will help to create a fourth "calculated column" that combines the years and tasks by "simple" text concatenation.
Then you can use this column in a slicer.
Regards,
Tom
Thanks very much for your suggestion Tom, I had considered this option but the complication is that each Target applies to 1 Year but the Target can have different numbers of Tasks, which is why I really need the dual filtering.
