Hello, I'm relative new on Power Bi. I've been looking for a way to filter a table with data from another table.
Example:
Table A
| Bank | Account | Date |
| A | 1 | 01/01/22 |
| B | 2 | 01/02/22 |
| A | 1 | 01/03/22 |
| C | 1 | 01/01/22 |
| B | 3 | 01/01/22 |
Table B
| Bank | Account | Start Date | Finish Date |
| A | 1 | 01/01/22 | 31/01/22 |
| B | 2 | 01/02/22 | 28/02/22 |
| A | 1 | 01/03/22 | 31/01/22 |
Table A would be a ever increasing data table while Table B would be the "Filter table". I wanted to create a Table C using Table A data filtered by Table C data.
Note: I'm looking to create a Table but not as a Visualization, rather as a dataset Table.
Solved! Go to Solution.
Hi @JL475 ,
Please check the formulas:
Table =
var tableb = ALLEXCEPT('Table B','Table B'[Finish Date])
return
EXCEPT('Table A',tableb)
Or
Table =
var tableb = ALLEXCEPT('Table B','Table B'[Finish Date])
return
EXCEPT('Table A',EXCEPT('Table A',tableb))
Best Regards,
Jay
