Filtering Problem

I have following scenario: (not specifying all the columns)

Table: DimProject
Columns: ProjectName, Project Description, Year

Table: FactExpanseRequest

Columns: ProjectName, PONumber, StartDate, EndDate

DimCalendar

Columns: YYYYMM, Year, DateField

Relations:

M:M DimCalendar[Year]:DimProject[Year]

1:M DimProject[ProjectName]:FactExpanseRequest[ProjectName]

I've created measure to mark if during specific month PO is executed or not:

BetweenDates =
VAR EarliestDate = MIN(FactExpenseRequest[StartDate])
VAR LatestDate = MAX(FactExpenseRequest[EndDate])
  RETURN

  IF (
        AND (
            MAX(DimCalendar[DateField]) >= EarliestDate,
            MIN(DimCalendar[DateField]) <= LatestDate
        ),
        1,
        0
    )

Measure works fine, but when i put it into matrix with: PONumber on Rows and YYYYMM on columns I lose filtering option, by highlighting related attributes from DimProject table in other Visual:

Matrix with PO vs YYYYMM:

which is filtered by clicking on specific project in this table:

So when i Click on project, there is no reaction in table with POs.

But, when i change measure to display BLANK() instead of 0s, filtering works just fine. What could be the reason of such behavior?
