I've built a map in Power BI of all our current properties needing inspection, and I'm automating the flow of our inspectors choosing their own inspections from a map, clicking a Power Automate button, and receiving an e-mail with a list of their inspections, each hyperlinked to their respective inspection form in Sharepoint.
I'm following Reza Dorrani's tutorial to set up the flow: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VnWg-Eox37Q
Except instead of doing the process in Sharepoint as he is doing, my process starts in Power BI, which means the items I'm selecting are Power BI items, not Sharepoint items. So I can follow along with all his steps until 11:59 when he goes to hyperlink his items in the e-mail. I need that hyperlink to link up to the inspection sheets in Sharepoint.
I can't hyperlink the Power BI output- I need the system to go into my Sharepoint and bring back only the addresses selected by the inspector. So I need a filter of some kind.
How should I modify this tutorial for Power BI?
Thank-you.
Remember that the Power Automate visual is independent of the map visual. In order to convey the filters that you used on the map the Power Automate visual needs to contain the same fields. and your interaction type needs to change from cross highlighting to cross filtering.
