I have a multi-row matrix and want to sort in 3 specific ways but do not know if power bi can acheive this.
CATEGORY A 40 (total)
APRIL 30
MAY 1
JUNE 9
CATEGORY B 30
APRIL 10
MAY 19
JUNE 1
I would like to sort the categories in alphabetical order, the total orders in descinding order, but keep the months in the correct order. Whenever i sort by the first two, the months are not sorted correctly (even though i have a sort by column setup for this column.)
Thank you!

Hi @thampton ,
You may convert the Matrix visual to Table visual first of all, then click on the Header Column [Category] to adjust it ASC order (note : you may press Left Click in the meantime to adjust order to opposite order), press Shift + Left Click on the column [Month] to adjust it ASC order, then press Shift + Left Click on the column [Order sales] to adjust it DESC order. After that, you may convert the Table visual to Matrix visual.

@thampton , make sure month has sort column for the correct order

@amitchandak I have the sort by column set up already. I think the sorting gets messed up when i sort the orders column in descinding order. It also sorts the months by the order total as well.
