Hi all,
I currently have a master file containing data on expenses that includes multiple headers with information pertaining to project, date, category etc. I want to add monthly forecast expense figures into my power bi visuals/tables but the only information I have will be product category, date and the forecast figure. I tried loading the separate sheet into power bi but can only only create one repationship between the 2 sheets at a time and can therefore only filter on date or product category and not on both. Both sheets are in the same Excel workbook and I gave the forecast figures identical column headings to the original file.
Any help would be greatly appreciated,
Thanks
@Anonymous , I think I need some data sample to understand this. I can only advise creating common dimension/ Bridge tables and have a date table.
Try to be in a star schema model.
@Anonymous Sorry, having trouble following, can you post sample data as text and expected output?
Not really enough information to go on, please first check if your issue is a common issue listed here: https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Community-Blog/Before-You-Post-Read-This/ba-p/1116882

The most important parts are:
1. Sample data as text, use the table tool in the editing bar
2. Expected output from sample data
3. Explanation in words of how to get from 1. to 2.
