Filter rules

Hi everyone!

I just built a basic report composed of:

  • 1 slicer: Product
  • 1 clustered bar chart: "product" as a axis, "year" as a legend and "import" as a value.

Then i select a product in the slicer so the chart only shows that product.

Then if i select 2013 (for example), that bar of 2013 lights up and the bar for 2014 gets darker. So far so good.

The thing is that, if i select a new product (2013 is still selected), the slicer will change, but both bars for clustered bar chart will keep dark:

I would like to know why it is happening. Moreover, i want the slicer to be the main filter. I mean if i select a new value from the slicer, the clustered bar chart must show both years lighted as it's a new value.

Can anyone help me?

Thank you in adva

Hi @Anonymous ,

You can use performance analyzer to view the details of your interaction with visualization. You can find the "cross highlighted" step corresponding to highlighting, so you only need to click visualization again to display highlighting.
