I need to filter position IDs between two tables.
One table with position IDs for department called ActivePositions.
One table with a mix of position IDs for both the entire company and for the department called NewHires.
I only need the department position IDs in this table. I can't create a relationship between the two tables because the position IDs are not unique. How can I filter out the company position IDs and be left with only the department position IDs?
I have attended Excel training only - no experience. I am trying to learn Power BI without training opportunities. The struggle is real. I appreciate the help.

Hi @Anonymous,
Maybe you could use Lookup value function to get the company position IDs.
If it is convenient, could you share some data sample and your desired output so that I can know details about your scenario and get the solution quickly?
Best Regards,
Cherry
