Filter multiple queries using same column

Hello, I suppose this is a basic question, but I haven't been able to search for it properly I have many tables with a common column ("Brand"). I'd like to filter the report by brand, without having to filter every table one by one. How can I tell the model that the "Brand" column is shared by every table, and thus should filter everything when I select a brand to show? I hope my question is clear. Thanks!

Hi, @jatpola

According to your description, I think you can try to create a ‘Slicer’ table that can be used to place into the slicer. Then you can go to the relationship view to link each table which contains the [Brand] column to the ‘Slicer’ table, then the Slicer can filter data in each table, like this:

And you can get what you want.

You can download my test pbix file here

If this result is not what you want, you can post some sample data(without sensitive data) and your expected result.

Hello @jatpola ,

If you have proper relationship among the tables base don the common column(in your case it is 'Brand'), it will automatically apply the filter on your visuals unless and until you are explicitly ignoring any filter using measures.
