Filter based on selected value

I need to be able to filter a table based on a selected value measure from another table.  I have tried to do a if statement but it cant format the measure as text.

Column 2 = if([Selected Role]='Target Data'[Leadership type],"yes","No")

Here is the measure

Hi

I use your provided information and formula and work out this result.

I don’t understand what do you mean by saying “I have tried to do a if statement but it cant format the measure as text”

Best Regards

Thanks for the response @v-juanli-msft.

It should only say yes if they match.

It just isn't working correctly.5-2-2018 9-20-29 AM.png

Hi

the result of measure "Selected Role" is right but "Column2" is not correct, the "yes" in row 2 should be "no", is my understanding right?

Best Regards

Maggie
