Dear all,
I would like to know how to filter out a table.
I got a table with multiple colums, some of them are Years, Description, Debet, Credit.
I want a measure that calculates the value of the description KLM (which is in my colum: Description) for the year 2017 (Debet - credit)
what is the dax formula to use in this case?
Solved! Go to Solution.
Delta := SUMX(
FILTER(MyTable, MyTable[Description] = "KLM" && MyTable[Year] = 2017),
MyTable[Debit] - MyTable[Credit]
)
Hi @0xygen27,
You can also use calculate function to get the result:
Result= CALCULATE(SUM(Table[Debit]) - SUM(Table[credit]), FILTER(Table, Table[Description] = "KLM" && Table[Year] = 2017) )
Regards,
Xiaoxin Sheng
Delta := SUMX(
FILTER(MyTable, MyTable[Description] = "KLM" && MyTable[Year] = 2017),
MyTable[Debit] - MyTable[Credit]
)
When I upload my dataset to the online version I will get a big X in the visual. It can't show me the visual because there is something wrong with my measure...
As quick as the error appeared, even quicker did it dissapear when I uploaded it for the 3th time 🙂
