Filter Multiple Fact Tables by Date and Party

I have two tables called Sales and Margin, both table has Party and Date column. now I want to filter total Sales and margin by date and by party. here is a sample data for your reference.

I would create a date table and a dimension table called party that has party_id  (primary key) and partyname as columns - then do necessary one to many relationships to both other tables.
