Hi Everyone
I have what I assume is a simple fix but the easiest path I expected to work isn't working the way I thought it would
Challenge:
Filter table of free-text responses under "FREE-TEXT" column where the comment is deemed "POSITIVE" under "SENTIMENT" column
What I have tried:
Standard filters for the visual. This ends up filtering out other data even though the filter is set to "applied to this visual" meaning the % metrics I have are being altered when any of the free-text is selected
The data is in 1 table so there is no relationship to remove which is what some others have assumed is causing the filters to impact other tables
Filter Measure. The standard Filter DAX isn't working either as I get an error about the columns which I am unable to resolve (will share when I am back at my dashboard)
What I want to achieve:
2 tables. 1 for positive, 1 for negative which do not impact one another or any other metrics when selecting any of the free-text in either table

Hi @Daniel_B ,
How about create two calculated table using filter function and build signle relationship between origin table?
PositiveTable
= FILTER('Table','Table'[Column] = "Positive")
If it doesn't meet your requirement, kindly share your sample data and expected result to me if you don't have any Confidential Information. Please upload your files to One Drive and share the link here.
