Hi,
I have two data tables, which are linked by one field.
On my dashboard I have a filled map, and several slicers. I want to be able to select a Zip code in the map (this is one of the fields on a table), so that I can get what fields from the slicer have that zip code associated. If I change the map for a slicer it works perfectly. Also, if I select info from the slicer the map won't zoom in, it is zoom in when no selection is done, but when I select an option from the slicer it zooms out.
Find a Gif attached.
Thanks in Advance
A.
Hi @lmmnnaa,
I create a filled map visual using my sample data in the latest version of Power BI Desktop(2.41.4581.361 64-bit), but I am not able to reproduce your issue.
When I select no option in a slicer, the filled map looks like as follows.
When I select info in the slicer, the filled map will zoom in as shown in the following screenshot.
And when I uncheck the option in the slicer, the filled map will zoom out as expected,
The above steps also work when I create a Map visual. Could you please share me your sample data and describe that what fields you use to create the filled map? I will test it in my Desktop.
Thanks,
Lydia Zhang

Hi, here is the info. I've created the field with the country code and the zip code to show the info on the map.
Thanks for your help

Hi @lmmnnaa,
Thanks for your sharing. I import your sample file, the imported tables are different from the ones in your screenshot, I am not sure which field you use to link the two tables.
I make a map visual using fields in CPCiudad table, there are no issues when working with zoom in/out, please check the following screenshots.
Thanks,
Lydia Zhang
Hi, you can try with the field CP and the Customer to filter. You don't need the other tables.
Thanks

Hi @lmmnnaa,
I used the above fields to filter the filled map/map, everything works well. You can check the attached PBIX file to get more details. Do you use the latest version of Power BI Desktop?
Thanks,
Lydia Zhang
Hi, thanks for your quick answer. You have to use the field CP, if you use Postal code the map is showing new zealand in stead of spain.
Also, yes, Im using the latest version of the tool.
Thanks

A.
Hi @lmmnnaa,
Would you mind sharing me your PBIX file? I will test it in my Desktop.
Thanks,
Lydia Zhang
Hi @lmmnnaa,
I can reproduce your issue using your PBIX file or create a new filled map using CP field. I will report this issue internally and post back once I get any update.
Thanks,
Lydia Zhang
