Filled Map Issues

Capture of filled map.PNG

Hi I need some assitance using the Filled Map visual.

I am importing data from Excel and for reference I am using Manitoba Canada for all my data and referencing location by postal code.

In my excel I have the following:

NAME, COUNTRY, PROVINCE, CITY, POSTAL, LEVEL (possible values 1-5):

Sample Data looks as this:

NameLevelCountryProvinceCityPostal
Able1CanadaManitobaWinnipegR2C 0A1
Baker2CanadaManitobaWinnipegR2C 0A1
Charles1CanadaManitobaWinnipegR3J 2P1
David2CanadaManitobaWinnipegR3J 2P1
Edward1CanadaManitobaWinnipegR3M 0P7
Frank2CanadaManitobaWinnipegR3M 0P7
George2CanadaManitobaWinnipegR3M 0P7
Henry3CanadaManitobaWinnipegR3M 0P7
India1CanadaManitobaDauphinR7N 3B3
Jack1CanadaManitobaDauphinR7N 3B3
Kim2CanadaManitobaDauphinR7N 3B3
Larry2CanadaManitobaDauphinR7N 3B3

The visual for this data is attached.

When I hover over the colored part for the level within each postal code I'd like to see a count. How do I do that?

Also is there a way to interactivly work with the map to show only level 1' for instance?

Part 1: Level count

If I understood you correctly, you'd like to count the number of levels for each postal code. If so:

1) Create a measure, Level count

2) Level count = count (level)

3) Drag count to tooltips

Part 2: Filter of levels.

You can do that by clicking on one of the legends at the top of the map. For example, click on the black circle. In your map, any bubble that is not black will be shadowed.
